Little Life Saver Aerator

Aquarium air pumps in the first part of the 20th century were expensive, so several companies had unique approaches to providing additional air to the aquarium. This unique device is providing air to an early Metaframe “splatter paint” aquarium (notice the early logo on the upper right side of this tank).
