A New Aquarium Fish

The early part of the last century saw an influx of new tropical fish entering the marketplace. Some of them wonderful additions to the aquarium trade, and others, not so much. This article describes one of the earliest imports of the shiny or splendid snakehead fish (Channa lucius), a fish now outlawed in many states of the U.S. for its aggressive nature.
