Goldfish via Airplane

This interesting article is on an early shipment of goldfish from Buffalo, New York, to Rome, Italy. These rare Celestial Goldfish from Putnam’s Fisheries were bound for Pope Pius XI for the Vatican Aquarium! I wonder if the Vatican in Rome still has an aquarium?
