Dear Mr. Bagnall:
Enclosed please find Roller Canary Turtor Record, JK Kodama, from Mrs Geo. H. Long’s Educational.
My mother, Dorothy Anne Bretner, was a big canary fan for most of her life. She had one canary, however, it didn’t want to sing. So, she bought this album in hopes it would help. The record doesn’t have a jacket, just a sleeve for protection.
I found this link describing J.K. Kodama, a Japanese official of the International Roller Breeders Association of Los Angeles, who conducted an audition:
I’ve kept the record in storage since her passing in 1992. I think she would be happy knowing that it has found a new home.
Sincerely,
Mary Lou Ritter
