1960-70 Award Ribbons

From left to right…

1. 1973 Newport’s Fashion Island Aquarium Society. Started by Howard Keffer and 13 year old Gary Bagnall. The next year the name changed to the Orange County Aquarium Society.
2. Fashion Island All Breed Show 1970-71. Put on by Russo’s Wonderful World of Pets.
3. 1974 Orange County Aquarium Society. Was active until the end of the 1970s. Today it has been resurrected into the COAST Fish Club.
4. Tri City Aquarium Society. Nice Discus fish ribbon. Huge club that lasted until the 1980s.
5. Pet Industry Distributors Association ribbon. Best new product (reptile) given to Zoo Med in 2002.
