Interesting reply letter to famous aquarist Gene Wolfsheimer from Robert Dempster of the Steinhart Aquarium in 1965. Gene wanted to spearhead the development of a public aquarium in Los Angeles and went to Robert (Bob) Dempster for advice. Historically it never happened although today there is a large privately owned public aquarium in Long Beach, California.
